Two Days To GO!

The last week and a half went by really quickly! I've finished a total of 10 paintings for Fan Fusion, one talking Bob the Skull (from Dresden Files), bookmarks, probably 200 prints, and a Mother's Day painting!

First, I am really proud of Bob. He was a birthday gift for my brother-in-law who loves the Dresden Files. He's a voice activated Google Home device that responds to "Hey, Bob". His eyes light up and he responds with "What's up, boss?" before taking voice input. I created a custom cheesy romance novel cover for the box to house the device, based off of an inside joke from one of our D&D sessions. I'm definitely not a skilled programmer, but I'm pretty proud of the way Bob turned out. I'll post a video of him in action down below.

Second, in the past two or so weeks, I've completed paintings of: Tokoyami, Kirishima, Luffy, Nami, Saitama, Genos, Ban, Totoro, and Sebastion, with a Yato and Lucina near completion. Typing it out feels great, haha. I've been working really hard to make sure I've got plenty of product to bring to the convention.

Third, I've entered two paintings into a contest at the Found:RE Hotel during Fan Fusion! One is a large blue abstract painting with lots of lines and circles I've lovingly titled "F*ck Retail (Jobs)". And the other is a series of bare trees against a blue and white speckled background. Wish me lots of luck! The winner gets their art projected onto the side of the hotel! :D
